Let me first start off by saying, I've had a Marware Converible case since the 3GS and loved it. It went everywhere with me, I wore it on my belt all the time, I ran with it, I used it on my desk at work to watch some hockey, I even had a spot in my truck where I could simply click it on using the clip. It was SWEET. But I can not say the same for the 4s case. The 3GS case was solid at the back and the removable clip was a full 3 inches long and about an inch wide. This is what made it sturdy. The 4/s version of the case added a new feature where you could rotate the phone as the clip attached to the backing... I drooled when I saw that. Finally! Rotation! Oh, how I love these Marware guys!... life was tough when I got my 4S because I was without a Marware case for about a week. So when it finally came I was estatic! Unfortunately, that attachment point which facillitates rotation is smaller than the size of a dime, if that. Instead of 2 solid pieces of casing, that envelopes the phone, the 4S case is 2 thin strips of plastic that surround the edge of the phone with the back of the phone cover being a flat replaceable panel. Nightly I have to remove the phone from the case to charge it on my nightstand, and with the old case, it was solid and removing & putting the case back on, every day, was a breeze. The new case perimeter (the 2 trips of plastic) broke after about two weeks. So, I ordered another one. "I'll just have to be more careful, next time"... Well the 2nd case came and I was ok again. Ahhh, I just love this case... until the plastic piece attaching the clip to the flat back panel broke when it was on my hip at church. If I wasn't sitting still, I wouldn't have noticed it fall off, and I could've lost my phone. Boo. "Ok", I said to myself, "You still have another clip from the other case, cool!". However, that broke after a week too. So after [$] I am now trepidatious to purchase another one. The 4S case design is horribly flimsy, although the rotation idea was a good one, it's excecution leaves its usefullness flat. It has broke on me twice! I still have my 3GS phone & case and it's still going strong, I can use that for running and iPod, but not as a phone. So if you don't plan on using the clip on a daily basis, and you don't plan on removing the case to charge it or put it in a docking station or portable speaker stand. It may work for you. But then why get this case?? Mareware, I suggest you rethink this design, as I can't be the only one who's clip has broken. It is a shame. I am truly bummed I can't use this case anymore, and there isn't another one like it.

im surprised im the only one who is reviewing this case so fat because it is fantastic! you can use this in 3 different ways. a regular flat case, a case with a clip or a workout band. it covers in all the necessary places and doesnt leave anything open that ti shouldn't. its not extra bulky and it has a very nice texture and finish to it. i just wish it was about $10 less. but i guess for everything it can do it is a good price. i've had it for about 6 months so far and i have no problems with it. If i could i would give it 6 or 7 stars!
